airQ Core
This component is the central hub of your airQ System. It connects to and gathers data from all the remote devices, vents and Sense units, processing all that data and then makes intelligent decisions about how to act, maximizing your air quality, comfort and well being.

airQ Core connects to WiFi and the airQ cloud to upload your data, allowing remote diagnostics, smart home integration, and mobile phone interoperability.
At the heart of the airQ Core is a purpose designed fan and filter. There are three stages of filtration, with each stage complementing the others. The prefilter blocks larger particles and extends the life of the other filters. Next is the active carbon filter which breaks down airborne chemicals, odors and volatile organic molecules. Finally the HEPA filter (MERV-16 rated) blocks physical particles all the way down to virus sized.

Run at the ideal speed, always
The airQ Fan can run at any speed, allowing your system to select the best possible fan speed for the conditions. This maximizes energy savings, performance, fan lifetime and most importantly, keeps your home comfortable.
Purpose designed fan
The airQ System needs a special kind of fan to be able to move large amounts of air efficiently, and to also run whisper quiet economically, all while connected to a HEPA filter. Such demands are too much for most fans, therefore a new purpose built fan was created.
High efficiency
The airQ fan consumes less power than a regular fan. This is achieved using advanced internal electronics that sense and regulate output power to the fan in real time.
Long life HEPA filter
The exact usable lifetime of your filter depends on the environment around your home. Most people will get a year of use out of each filter set.
Your system will tell you when to change filters, with each set being simple to change yourself and inexpensive.
Surgical grade filtration
Most air purifiers are only MERV-13 rated, where airQ uses a HEPA filter at MERV-16 (higher values do a better job of filtering out particles).
In fact, the airQ Filter is so good at blocking particles they have the same rating as filters used in surgical operating rooms.
More than just a filter
In addition to filtering the air, your airQ System brings in a stream of fresh air. This means you won't get Carbon Dioxide buildup (air purifiers recirculate the same air over and over) and you'll have drier air too.
Best of both worlds,
HEPA and active carbon
HEPA filters are great at removing particles from the air but do nothing to block odors and chemicals. Active carbon filters are great at removing odors and chemicals but not so good at removing particles.
By combining both types of filters your airQ System gives you the best of both worlds, without compromise.
